樊轲（Ke Fan）老师现任 NSW School of Languages 与 Secondary College of Languages 教师，长期教授 Chinese Beginners、Continuers、Chinese and Literature 以及 Chinese in Context 等多门 HSC 课程。樊老师曾是 HSC 高考中文科 senior marker，曾担任 HSC Exam Committee 成员。他曾荣获 Pre-service Teacher Supervisor Award，并担任 DoE chinese course support material 撰写人、ACARA chinese curriculum 校对（proofreader）。 樊轲老师曾多次在协会年会上进行讲座和展示，分享其独到的中文教学理念。他也一直担任 DoE Language Teacher Network Leader , 负责Sydney CBD/East 区域， 近期为近30名来自不同学校的语言老师们举办了Language Statewide Collaboration Day，他也在麦考利大学与来自13所学校的教师和学生进行了交流，分享了有关中文 Extension 新指定篇目的教学方法与学习策略，并获得了极高的评价和积极反馈。在其指导下，樊老师的学生多次在 NSW HSC 取得中文科目第一名，包括 Chinese and Literature（2016、2021）与 Chinese in Context（2024）。

Ms Josie Yan 颜朝霞老师 currently teaches at Newcastle Grammar School. She has been working in NSW as a Chinese teacher for over 20 years. She has taught both primary school and secondary school students. Josie has taught all stages and has experience in teaching HSC Chinese Beginners, Chinese Continuers, Chinese Extension, Chinese In Context and Chinese and Literature. She has supervised two students participated in the 15th and 17th Chinese Bridge Speaking competition and both achieved 2nd prize and became top 15 of the world. Other than teaching students Mandarin, Josie has included many cultural activities in her teaching to supplement Chinese language learning. She has worked closely with CBT, Sino Field and HSK and organised incursions and excursions to promote Chinese language and culture.

June has been a qualified high school teacher since 2013, specialising in Stage 6 courses, including Chinese and Literature, Chinese Continuers, and Society & Culture. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education, a Bachelor of Law, and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics. June aspires to become an inspiring education leader who is able to make a meaningful contribution to the broader Chinese-speaking community. 

​Mr Jason Heffernan

Mr Jason Heffernan 何杰森老师 currently teaches Chinese at St Bede’s Catholic College. He has been working as a Languages teacher in the NSW Central Coast, Maitland, and Newcastle regions since 2021. 

Prior to becoming a Secondary Teacher, Jason worked in the tertiary education sector at UNSW from 2016 until mid-2020 as an Academic and Research Assistant specialising in Systemic Functional Linguistics and Chinese/English translation. 

In his role as an Academic, Jason taught postgraduate courses within the Master of Translation and Interpreting program, which prepares students for NAATI professional certification. One of Jason’s many responsibilities included creating and marking Chinese into English translation accreditation examinations. During this time, Jason also simultaneously worked as a NAATI certified freelance Chinese to English Translator and served as a Membership Officer on the NSW Branch Committee of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT). 

Mrs Lucy Liu is currently a teacher at Inaburra School, where she contributes her expertise as a Language teacher and Humanity and Social Science Teacher in New South Wales. Since beginning her teaching career in NSW in 2019, she has established herself as a proficient teacher, qualified to teach Mandarin Chinese, German, and other HSIE subjects. Her experience spans both primary and secondary settings, across the LOTE and HSIE faculties.

Mrs Liu is the recipient of the prestigious Chinese National Scholarship and was awarded first prize in the National Spoken English Competition. She completed her Master of Teaching at the University of Sydney, where she also received an international mobility scholarship. 
Demonstrating a strong commitment to professional growth, she has participated in multiple academic exchanges at leading global institutions, including Nanyang Technological University, Stuttgart University, and Yale University. As an enthusiastic advocate for Chinese language education, she has also taken part in professional seminars at Xiamen University and Guangzhou Foreign Language University.

Mrs Liu is deeply committed to promoting Chinese language teaching and fostering broader understanding of Chinese culture. Her academic achievements, international experience, and dedication to her students reflect her passion for education and cultural exchange.

现任Kogarah High School教师及留学生顾问，拥有丰富的Stage 4–6中文教学经验。在高中及SCL Chinese and Literature课程领域深耕十五年以上，助力多名学生斩获Band 6优异成绩。

澳大利亚NAATI持证三级翻译，曾任悉尼翻译学院三级翻译高级讲师，帮助数百名学员成功取得三级翻译笔译证书。

教学风格生动活泼，坚持寓教于乐，多次策划并组织校内外研学、游学团接待等文化交流活动，致力于中文语言与中国文化的传承与推广。
